AJ Haefele: Have been hearing that Colorado Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog could have a broken foot. Nothing has been confirmed yet but he has a walking boot on.

Ryan S. Clark: Avs coach Jared Bednar said the defenseman Nikita Zadorov missed practice yesterday as he was a little dinged up from Wednesday’s game. They will decide today if he’s good to go.

Ryan S. Clark: Bednar said that forward Colin Wilson is still day-to-day and won’t be in the lineup tonight,

Sean Shapiro: Dallas Stars defenseman Andrej Sekeras won’t be in the lineup tonight and is doubtful for Saturday’s game.

Kevin Kurz: San Jose Sharks Dylan Gambrell will be out this weekend with an upper-body injury.

Dalton Prout is not skating and there is no timeline for him.

Radim Simek will play in the AHL tonight and then they will reassess his situation.

Jason Gregor: Winnipeg Jets Mark Letestu has been diagnosed with Myocarditis, which is a virus that attacks the heart. He will be out for six months.

Ken Wiebe: Jets coach Paul Maurice said that Patrik Laine won’t play tonight.

Bryan Little status is uncertain. His issue is not concussion-related.

Emily Sadler of Sportsnet: Winnipeg Jets suspended defenseman Dustin Byfuglien had ankle surgery last week and the situation is complicated.

“Going back to the start of training camp, that’s when we met with Dustin and those are all pretty well-documented stuff and obviously over the course of time here, he has had an ankle surgery here now and we’re dealing with that,” Cheveldayoff told reporters during a media availability on Thursday afternoon. “So with respect to really anything else that I can comment on, that’s pretty much where it’s at at this point in time. We’re in constant conversations with his agents and that’s where we’re at.”

Leah Hextall: “I reached out to the @NHLPA for clarity on Dustin Byfuglien‘s options (IF he chooses to take them) to receive compensation from the Jets during his rehab from ankle surgery. The PA confirmed they’re in contact with his agent Ben Hankinson and are currently reviewing this matter.”
