Rams Video: Aaron Donald Hosts Youth Football Camp

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald has long established himself as a legend in the making with his displays of dominance throughout a Hall of Fame career.

The three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year is looking to re-write the history books heading into the 2021 NFL season. Of course, it is in the offseason where he tends to do his best work.

Donald’s workouts have made their rounds on social media in recent years for being as impressive as they are sometimes bizarre. He is now doing what he can to pass this work ethic on to the next generation of young players coming up.

Donald provided an inside look at one of the youth football camps he recently hosted, via the NFL’s official Twitter:

Donald even shared a special moment with a young camper hoping to follow the same path, via Prospect Media:

Whether it’s teammates or campers, Donald seemingly has a knack for making someone’s day. As good as he is on the field, it is his actions off of it that will continue to make an impact for years to come.

The six-time All-Pro is widely considered to be the best player in the NFL, regardless of position. Getting an opportunity to learn from the best and work out like he does is a special opportunity for young players.

Fortunately, Donald opted not to include the knife-wielding workouts that went viral a few years back. The workouts seemed to instead focus around explosiveness and footwork, which is fitting since these attributes are what helped him separate himself from the competition.

The 30-year-old has likely heard all the talk about his level of production being unsustainable heading into this stage of his career. However, it appears this has only been used as further motivation to prove the doubters wrong once again.

Although Donald is eager to see the next generation surpass him, there is no question that he is leaving behind some rather big shoes to fill.
