Among the Los Angeles Rams’ biggest offseason additions was veteran cornerback Tre’Davious White, who enjoyed a solid career with the Buffalo Bills where he established himself as one of the best players at his position.
White has been plagued by injuries in recent seasons and unfortunately has not looked like the same player with the Rams.
He started the first four games and struggled in coverage before the team removed him from the starting lineup when Darious Williams was activated off injured reserve.
The Rams are now going over their options with White, which could include a trade before the Nov. 5 deadline, via Jeremy Fowler of ESPN:

The Rams signed White to a one-year, $4.25 million contract during the offseason, so he won’t be difficult to move if that’s what they decide to do.
Teams are always looking for cornerback help, so even with White’s struggles this season, someone would likely be willing to take a flier on him given his impressive track record that includes two Pro Bowl appearances.
The Rams likely wouldn’t get much of a return for White, so they could ultimately decide to keep him around as depth. The 29-year-old’s experience could also prove valuable in the locker room.
White has recorded two passes defended and 12 tackles in four games this season.
Rams’ Sean McVay shoots down Cooper Kupp trade rumors
While White is a candidate to moved at the Nov. 5 trade deadline, Cooper Kupp appears likely to stay with the Rams.
“Teams reached out. Some of the things I’ve seen out there, they’re just not true,” McVay said after the Rams’ 30-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
“We’ve addressed it with those individuals. Teams have called about him and we let him know what the dialogue was there and there’s a lot of stuff out there where there’s not a lot of accountability to the reports and that’s unfortunate.”
Having improved to 3-4, the Rams are back in the NFC West mix and seem ready to go on a run after getting some key players back healthy.
“I think a lot of the things that were out there were speculation,” McVay said. “We’re an inside-out organization. I’m really glad to have Cooper Kupp back with us and that’s what I expect to stay that way.”
