Kobie Turner, Rams

Kobie Turner has been one of the leaders on a young and inexperienced Los Angeles Rams defense this season. He has done a little bit of everything, recording five sacks, seven tackles for loss, four pass deflections and a forced fumble this season. He has helped the Rams arguably overachieve on that end of the field this season.

But the 2024 season also gave Turner a chance to display an incredible off-field talent, and that it his singing voice. Turner has used his social media to show off his singing passion and was just revealed to be a cast member on Season 12 of “The Masked Singer,” the popular anonymous celebrity singing competition.

On Wednesday night, Turner was finally eliminated after finishing in fourth place for the season, and he took to social media to explain what the experience meant to him:

Turner made his premiere as Goo in the fourth episode of the season, making it through a three-episode group stage as the only wild card selection to the quarterfinals. All three group winners were kept with a fourth wild card slot, and that belonged to Turner.

He dazzled with performances of hits like “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims, “Miss Independent” by Ne-Yo and “The House of the Rising Sun” by The Animals. He ultimately was put up for elimination after a performance of “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls and lost on “Hold On, I’m Comin” by Sam & Dave.

Now, Turner returns to the NFL field for the Rams with an incredible experience under his belt that shows the type of talent and personality he truly is.

Kyren Williams is Rams’ Walter Payton nominee

The Rams announced that running back Kyren Williams has been selected as the team’s nominee for the 2024 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award.

The honor was established in 1970 and renamed after the late Hall of Fame Chicago Bears running back in 1999. The annual award recognizes players who excel on-the-field and demonstrate a steadfast commitment to creating a positive impact beyond the game.

“It’s an honor to be nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award alongside the many players around the league who are doing meaningful work in their communities,” Williams said.
