The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will meet in Super Bowl LX on Sunday night at Levi’s Stadium, which is always one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year.
The Los Angeles Rams unfortunately will be watching from home after they came up just short against the Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game.
The Rams had an opportunity to take the lead late in the fourth quarter but were stopped on fourth down. They were ultimately doomed by not being able to do the little things in their 31-27 loss to the Seahawks.
Rams head coach Sean McVay is still hurt over the loss and doesn’t know if he will be able to watch Super Bowl LX, via Greg Beacham of The Associated Press:
Sean McVay says he usually watches the Super Bowl, but this year: “I don’t know. I might punish myself. That game the other day probably hurt more than any loss I’ve ever been a part of & it’s because of the love for the team. So I don’t know that I’ll be tuning in for this one.”

It’s hard to fault McVay for the way he feels as one could argue the 2025 Rams were one of the most talented rosters he ever got to coach.
L.A. had the best offense in football this season, led by likely MVP Award winner Matthew Stafford, who threw for an NFL-best 46 touchdowns against eight interceptions.
The soon-to-be 38-year-old is now taking some time before determining if he wants to return to the Rams for another season.
McVay and the rest of the team obviously want Stafford back as another season with the veteran quarterback would help extend their Super Bowl window.
Cooper Kupp believes Matthew Stafford deserves NFL MVP Award
Longtime Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp, will play in Super Bowl LX as a member of the Seahawks, recently made his case for Stafford to win the NFL MVP Award.
“It would be incredible. He had an unbelievable season and is, I think, very deserving of that award. But his body of work over his career is, whatever you wanna say, whoever wants to pull the statistics and all this other stuff, watch the tape. Watch the tape and find someone better over the last 17 years. Find someone better, you’ll have a hard time doing it.”
Stafford and Kupp remain close friends despite now playing for rival teams.
