Raiders Video: Antonio Brown Mic’d Up At Minicamp

Adjusting to a new team takes a lot of work. Players must adjust to a new playbook, new teammates, and new coaches.

For Antonio Brown, joining the Oakland Raiders seems to be a welcome change. Brown was traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Raiders in March. Since then, he seems to have fit right into the team.

He recently stated that he was happy with the challenges he faced from head coach Jon Gruden and that he and quarterback Derek Carr are developing a friendship.

Recently the Raiders tweeted a video of Brown mic’d up at the team’s minicamp:

“Let’s put a show on today.”

You asked for it, so here it is: @AB84, Mic’d Up 🎙

Brown seemed to dominate practice and made sure to let his teammates know. He and Carr also appear to be clicking throughout the full video, which the team shared on YouTube.

This is a great change from Brown’s last few seasons where he and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had a fair amount of trouble. Now on the Raiders, Brown seems to be back to his old self and enjoying what he is doing on the field.

In addition to Brown, the Raiders receiving corps has undergone a complete overhaul this offseason with other additions including Tyrell Williams, J.J. Nelson, Ryan Grant and Hunter Renfrow. Carr and Brown have done an outstanding job this offseason organizing group workouts so they can all begin to build chemistry together as a unit.
