The Las Vegas Raiders made it clear that they were in the market for more depth at corner this NFL offseason. They finally managed to make their first addition to this group by signing former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Rasul Douglas this week.

The Raiders still have options if they hope to make another splash in the secondary with the 2021 NFL Draft around the corner and several veteran free agents still available. Of course, it remains to be seen which direction they will look to go in between adding more experience or bringing in fresh, young talent.

Regardless, Las Vegas is doing its due diligence on those left on the market. After all, they have had their fair share of visitors at the facilities in Las Vegas throughout the offseason.

According to Howard Blazer of SI.com, former Atlanta Falcons cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson is the latest to visit the Raiders.

Adding Wreh-Wilson to the mix would provide some much-needed experience for this talented, albeit unproven group. As of right now, the cornerback depth chart currently consists of Douglas, Damon Arnette, Trayvon Mullen, Isaiah Johnson, Amik Robertson, and Nevin Lawson.

Wreh-Wilson entered the league a third-round pick by the Tennessee Titans back in 2013. He spent three seasons in Tennessee and had the best year of his career in 2014 when he registered with 57 tackles, one interception, and 10 passes defended.

Wreh-Wilson was waived by the Titans during the preseason and signed with the Falcons leading up to the 2016 campaign. He was part of the squad that went to a Super Bowl that year and remained as a mainstay reserve in the secondary for the last five seasons.

General manager Mike Mayock noted this team’s need for playmakers at every level of the defense. Wreh-Wilson was able to take full advantage of his role in Atlanta last season by hauling in three interceptions.
