Raiders Highlights: Josh Jacobs, Derek Carr Carry Team to Victory Over Colts

The Oakland Raiders bounced back with a big Week 4 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, getting off to a good start and riding it to a 31-24 win. Derek Carr played efficiently as usual and Josh Jacobs had another strong performance to help bring the team to move to 2-2 on the year.

The Raiders came out of the gates hot and scored on their first drive as Carr linked up with rookie tight end Foster Moreau for the 18-yard touchdown pass.

After forcing a three and out, the Raiders scored on their first and only play of their next drive. Newly-acquired wide receiver Trevor Davis showed off his speed, grabbing a pitch from Carr and taking it 60 yards for a touchdown on his first touch as a Raiders. Davis came over in a trade with the Green Bay Packers, where he saw most of his time on the special teams.

Raiders head coach Jon Gruden also finally unleashed fan-favorite and rookie wide receiver Keelan Doss. Although Doss only made the one reception on the day, his 14-yard grab certainly must have excited many fans.

After a fumble that led to the Colts first touchdown, the Raiders came back and scored once again. Carr found Darren Waller often, grabbing a number of first-down passes on the drive. Waller ended up with 53 yards on seven receptions.

The score was finally made on a 19-yard pass to Tyrell Williams and the Raiders went into the second half leading 21-10. Carr finished the day completing 21 of his 31 pass attempts for 189 yards and the two touchdowns.

Jacobs made some big plays on a couple of short passes during the Raiders first drive of the third quarter, an 82-yard drive that resulted in a field goal by Daniel Carlson, who converted on that lone attempt and was good on all four of his extra-point attempts.

Jacobs ended the game with 17 carries for 79 yards, also adding two catches for 29 yards. He helped put the game away with some big runs in the fourth quarter, and then safety Erik Harris sealed the victory with an interception that he returned for a touchdown late in the game.
