Raiders, Allegiant Stadium Announce Partnership With Ford Motor Company

The Oakland Raiders have lots of change coming as after years of playing at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, they will be on the move to Las Vegas in 2020.

With a city as glamorous as Las Vegas, the Raiders needed a new stadium fit for their new home. The team will get just that in Allegiant Stadium, which is on pace to be finished in July of 2020.

In some exciting news, the Raiders announced that they have a new partnership in place with the Ford Motor Company, making them a founding parter of Allegiant Stadium.

The Ford partnership will come from the five Las Vegas area dealers: Ford Country, Friendly Ford, Gaudin Ford, Rush Truck Center, and Team Ford. All five were represented to make the announcement, as well as Raiders executives, including President Marc Badain.

In addition to Ford being a founding partner of Allegiant Stadium, it is now also the official vehicle of the Raiders franchise. Head coach Jon Gruden shared his excitement over the partnership and the prospect of 2020 in general:

We’re proud to announce a founding partnership with the Desert Ford Dealers.

Badain also shared his excitement to partner with another major brand, via Raiders.com:

“The Raiders are proud to welcome the Las Vegas Ford dealers as the newest Founding Partner of Allegiant Stadium,” said Raiders President Marc Badain. “We are excited to add another world-wide brand to the Raider family and for the annual activation and tailgating experiences this partnership will provide to our fans.”

The stage for 2020 is more than set. While the changes behind the scenes are still not entirely completed, the changes on the field are well underway. After trading a number of star players away in the last few years, the sacrifices have paid off as the Raiders have a number of promising young players that they will bring with them to Las Vegas.

With the Raiders coming to town, it should be an exciting year for the Las Vegas Ford dealers as well. Business will hopefully boom, along with the team’s win total.

Gary Ackerman of Gaudin Ford shared his enthusiasm over the partnership with the Raiders:

“Ford has a long-standing relationship with the National Football League and we are thrilled to continue that partnership with the Raiders as they make Las Vegas their home,” said Gary Ackerman of Gaudin Ford. “As the official vehicle of the Raider Nation, we are proud that members of the team and executive staff will take to the streets of Las Vegas in a Ford vehicle.”

The Las Vegas fanbase showed that they are willing to welcome new teams to their city when the Golden Knights were created as an NHL expansion team a couple of years ago. Hopefully, they will do the same for the Silver and Black next year.
