Quick Hits: Laine, Sabourin, Paquette, Perry, Balcer, Poehling, and Players on Waiers

Patrik Laine signs a two-year deal with an AAV of $6.75 million

Craig Custance: Laine will get $6 million in the first year and $7.5 million in the second.

Jessica Botelho-Urbanski: Winnipeg Jets owner Mark Chipman said the deal is “really good arrangement for both sides.”

Correct, we’re at $7.26M Cap Space with 23 on Roster including Byfuglien. If Byfuglien returns and Connor signs, would need to clear one roster spot to be at 23. If spot cleared is Letestu/Luoto, $7.96M-$8.0M Cap Space.https://t.co/Hz0WLQsh6a
