Quick Hits: Chara and Grzelcyk Game-Time Decisions, Karlsson Has Surgery, Senators and Coyotes
Chara and Grzelcy game-time decisions

Chris Johnston: Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara (broken jaw) is on the ice for practice this morning with a chin guard and visor.

Tom Gulitti: Both Chara and Matt Grzelcyk will be game-time decisions for Game 5 tonight according to coach Bruce Cassidy.

Chara will need to get clearance for doctors first. If he gets clearance, it will be up to him if he’s in the lineup or not.

Joe Haggerty: Both Chara and Grzelcyk were wearing regular jerseys when on the ice today.

The blue line could look much better if both are ready to go tonight.

Renaud Lavoie: The Bruins had been worried that Chara may have had a concussion. He doesn’t, so he could be an option for tonight.

Karlsson has surgery

Kevin Kurz: San Jose Sharks pending free agent defenseman Erik Karlsson underwent groin surgery and should make a full recovery this offseason.

Sens Communication: The Ottawa Senators have named Jack Capuano as an associate coach.

Coyotes bring back Russo
