Official Los Angeles Rams 2020 NFL Draft Picks

3 Min Read

With the 2020 NFL Draft just around the corner, teams around the league are still in the midst of making preparations to take full advantage of the picks at their disposal.

The Los Angeles Rams have become strangers to making selections in the first round with their last one being quarterback Jared Goff back in the 2016 NFL Draft. Of course, this is due to the fact that they have packaged them away in order to bring in integral players such as Goff, wide receiver Brandin Cooks and cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

The next few years will not be any different thanks to the Ramsey trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars that included their next two first-rounders. Fortunately, Los Angeles has already become quite accustomed to finding hidden gems in the mid-to-late rounds.

In 2017, it was wide receiver Cooper Kupp and safety John Johnson III that managed to burst onto the scene as rookies. They then managed to secure some promising pieces the following year along the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball in offensive linemen Joseph Noteboom and Brian Allen along with defensive linemen John Franklin-Myers and Sebastian Joseph-Day. Meanwhile, the 2019 campaign landed them a bonafide starter in safety Taylor Rapp and running back Darrell Henderson, who general manager Les Snead recently pegged as a piece of their “two-headed monster” in the backfield.

The Rams could have several gaps to fill given the number of key players potentially set to hit the market as free agents this offseason. Here are the crop of picks that they will have to work with in order to help them avoid too much potential turnover this offseason as they were made official by the league:

2nd round, 52nd overall pick
3rd round, 84th overall pick
3rd round, 104th overall pick
4th round, 126th overall pick
6th round, 199th overall pick
7th round, 234th overall pick
