Kasten wanted World Series ring to ‘tell a story’
The Dodgers’ 2020 World Series ring honor the organization in many ways, including the team’s previous championships with six princess-cut diamonds set in pennants along the edges of the ring top.
The interior of the baseball diamond, which can be found at the ring top, also is filled by an additional 29 diamonds to represent the number of home runs the Dodgers hit while playing in the postseason bubble at Globe Life Field.
President and CEO Stan Kasten recently noted the club wanted the 2020 World Series rings to be flashy and tell a story so players can always be reminded of what they accomplished during an unprecedented season.
