Joe Haggerty of NBC Sports Boston: Boston Bruins forwards Jake DeBrusk (lower-body) and Brett Ritchie (upper-body) practiced yesterday. Both could return to the lineup on Tuesday.

DeBrusk has missed their past five games.

Forward Patrice Bergeron didn’t practice and will be a game-time decision.

Defenseman Torey Krug (upper-body) skated before practice. He won’t play tonight.

Defenseman Kevan Miller is taking a couple of days off. They are hoping he can return sometime next week.

Defenseman John Moore (shoulder) skated with the main group.

Bill Hoppe of Buffalo Hockey Beat: Buffalo Sabres forward Kyle Okposo is out indefinitely after he suffered another concussion. This could be the fourth concussion that he’s had since joining the Sabres.

Forward Tage Thompson will be out three to five weeks after suffering an upper-body injury.

Defenseman Zach Bogosian (hip) and forwards Marcus Johansson (upper-body) and Johan Larsson (upper-body) are listed as day-to-day.

Michael Smith: Carolina Hurricanes coach Rod Brind’Amour on forward Erik Haula (knee): “He’s going to be out for a while. … He’s not playing any time soon, I don’t think.”

Jacob Myers: Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Ryan Murray (lower-body) practiced yesterday.

Allan Walsh: Montreal Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin will be out for about eight weeks after having wrist surgery yesterday.

Elliotte Friedman: Canadiens coach Claude Julien said that Paul Byron (knee) will miss some time.

Amanda Stein: New Jersey Devils forward Kevin Rooney is out tonight.

Denis Gorman: New York Rangers forward Mika Zibanejad remains day-to-day and won’t be in the lineup on Wednesday according to coach David Quinn.

Lance Hornby: The Toronto Maple Leafs placed Trevor Moore on the IR and recalled Pierre Engvall.
