Boston Bruins: David Krejci and Chris Wagner returned to the lineup while Joakim Nordstrom and Par Lindholm are still out. Lindholm has an upper-body injury and Nordstrom has an infection in his elbow.

Ansar Khan: The Detroit Red Wings have activated forward Adam Erne from the IR and reassigned forward Evgeny Svechnikov.

Pittsburgh Penguins: Forward Brian Dumoulin and forward Alex Galchenyuk have been activated from the IR.

Joe Smith: Tampa Bay Lightning coach Jon Cooper said that they are not sure if Victor Hedman will be able to go tonight. He’s listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Cooper said that they are hopeful that forward Anthony Cirelli is not a long-term concern.

Cooper said that forward Patrick Maroon “checked out” okay.

Dan Rosen: Maroon has an upper-body injury.

Hedman has an lower-body injury.

Cirelli is dealing with an upper-body injury.

Chris Johnston: Toronto Maple Leafs Jake Muzzin left last night’s game early with a leg injury.

Kristen Shilton: Leafs coach Mike Babcock said that Muzzin has a charley horse. They are not sure about a timeline for Muzzin. It’s not a knee injury.

CapFriendly: The Maple Leafs activated defenseman Travis Dermott from the LTIR before last night’s game and reassigned defenseman Kevin Gravel.

The Leafs LTIR salary pool relief is now down to $12.8 million and with $217,017 cap space.

Terry Koshan: Babcock on if Zach Hyman and John Tavares could return to the Leafs lineup by the weekend.

“No. I don’t know when I’m going to have either one. I haven’t asked because you’re not supposed to in my spot. I think John is going to be ready before Hymes from what I’m told.”

Kristen Shilton: Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly was in the lineup last night but he’s being bothered by something as he’s not practicing. Leafs coach Babcock on Rielly.

“Right now he’s not feeling as great, but he’s still giving ‘er everything he’s got; that’s all we ask.”

Capitals PR: Washington Capitals forward Nic Dowd left last night’s game early with a lower-body injury. He will be re-evaluated today.
