The Los Angeles Dodgers clinched the National League pennant for the 24th time in franchise history and now are back in the World Series a third year in the past four years. Of course, 2020 has brought about unique circumstances and as such the entire Fall Classic will be played at Globe Life Field.
Dodgers fans still will be able to congregate at Dodger Stadium — while complying with local and CDC guidelines — for World Series viewing parties. The Dodgers hosted the same events during the NL Championship Series.
Tickets for World Series viewing parties at Dodger Stadium are available for purchase at Dodgers.com/DriveIn, and remain $75 per car. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available upon entry.
Viewing again will take place on 60-foot screens in Dodger Stadium parking lots 2 and 3, with audio broadcast through FM radio. Concessions will not be available, and fans are encouraged to bring their own food and beverages, though alcohol is prohibited.
The Dodgers are organizing World Series viewings in accordance with L.A. County’s re-opening protocols for drive-in movie theaters. Under such protocols, outdoor seating will not be permitted, and fans will be required to physical distance and wear a face covering should they need to access the restroom.
A full list of safety measures and security protocols at Dodger Stadium can be found here. Dodger Stadium parking gates will open one hour prior to the start time of each game.
L.A. and the Tampa Bay Rays are meeting in the postseason for the first time. The Rays reached Fall Classic by avoiding a collapse against the Houston Astros, while the Dodgers rallied from a 3-1 deficit in the NL Championship Series.
