Dodgers Spring Training: Ticket Refunds For Select Camelback Ranch Games Now Available

3 Min Read

The global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has brought Major League Baseball and other professional sports leagues to a halt, sending respective seasons into limbo and prompting a slew of questions.

Chief among them for fans has been ticket refund policies in the wake of MLB cancelling all remaining Spring Training games and pushing back Opening Day for at least two weeks; an April 9 start date seemed unlikely at the time of the league’s announcement, and even more so now.

With Camelback Ranch effectively shut down and sealed off to the general public, the Spring Training home of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox has now announced a ticket refund policy.

With that, all tickets purchased through Camelback Ranch, or through Dodgers.com, WhiteSox.com or Tickets.com, will be automatically refunded to the credit card originally used.

This includes single-game tickets, season ticket packages and groups or suites. Customers will receive the automatic refunds by March 30, 2020.

Meanwhile, any customers who purchased tickets purchased at Camelback Ranch with cash must complete a “Refund Form for Cash Payments” document, available for download here. The completed form must be submitted, along with the physical game tickets, and mailed to Camelback Ranch Tickets via US mail to receive a refund check.

Tickets purchased through other sources and third-party vendors (StubHub, Vivid Seats, etc.) should have refund requests directed through the original point of purchase.

The Dodgers have not yet announced plans for presumed regular-season games that will be lost. “These are unprecedented times, and the health and safety of our community is of the utmost importance to the Los Angeles Dodgers,” the team said in a statement last week.

“Today, Major League Baseball announced the suspension of all Spring Training games and the delay of the start of the regular season by at least two weeks due to the impact of the coronavirus. In coordination with MLB, we will provide more information about our plans, including our ticket policy for impacted games, as soon as it is available.

“We appreciate your patience as we work with MLB and local health and government agencies towards a resolution that is best for the continued safety of the entire extended Dodger family.”
