The Los Angeles Dodgers led all National League teams with five players earning All-MLB honors for the 2022 season. Only the Houston Astros had more selections (six).
Mookie Betts and Trea Turner both were named to the All-MLB First Team, while Freddie Freeman, Will Smith and Julio Urías were included on the Second Team. Selections to the All-MLB Teams comprised of voting from fans, media members, broadcasters, former players and other officials throughout the game.
Betts hit .269/.340/.533 with 35 home runs, 40 doubles, 82 RBI, 117 runs scored, 12 stolen bases, a 144 wRC+ and 6.5 aWAR across 142 games.
Turner batted .298/.343/.466 with 21 home runs, 39 doubles, 100 RBI, 101 runs scored, 27 stolen bases, a 128 wRC+ and 5.6 aWAR while playing 160 games. He was one of nine players to earn All-MLB honors for a second consecutive year.
Freeman hit .325/.407/.511 with 21 home runs, 47 doubles, 100 RBI, 117 runs scored, 13 stolen bases and a 157 wRC+ in his first season with the Dodgers across 159 games. He has now appeared as an All-MLB selection in all four seasons since the honor was introduced following the 2019 campaign.
