The Los Angeles Dodgers finished the 2026 regular season with a cumulative attendance total of 4,034,219. Thursday’s series finale against the San Diego Padres drew an announced crowd of 53,027, good for the Dodgers’ 14th home sellout of the season.

The first 40,000 fans in attendance received an exclusive Godzilla Minus Zero Bobblehead as part of a collaboration with TOHO to promote the new film “Godzilla Minus Zero.”

“It’s more turning of the turnstiles than any venue in the world. Certainly, given the dates that we have, right, 81 dates. The amazing thing is that it’s not just localized, clearly. It’s not just domestic. It’s international. You look and everyone looks different at Dodger Stadium,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said.

“It’s spectacular, and our players certainly feed off of it. It’s not taken for granted. I think opponents feel it, certainly in the late innings, when they see the third deck full and the speakers are blaring. So it’s pretty special.”

The Dodgers reached 4 million in home attendance for the first time in franchise history last year, averaging more than 49,000 fans per game for only the second time.

MLB’s franchise record for home attendance in a single season is 4,483,350, set by the Colorado Rockies when they played at Mile High Stadium during their inaugural year in 1993. The Dodgers are the first team to draw over 4 million in back-to-back seasons since the New York Yankees did so in four consecutive years from 2005-08.

Dodgers fans consistently turning out in droves helps create one of the best home-field advantages in the Majors, which certainly plays a part in the team’s success. The Dodgers have a 658-345 record at have at home since 2014, which includes a 51-30 record this season.

L.A.’s .657 winning percentage at Dodger Stadium in that span is far and away the best home mark in MLB. The New York Yankees are the next closest team, with a 602-397 record (.603).

This year, the Dodgers announced crowds of 50,000 or better for 40 games. In the process they have registered at least 40,000 in announced attendance for 215 consecutive games and counting, which is another franchise record.

Dodgers attendance for this season averaged 49,805 fans per game. The biggest crowd of the year came on ONE PIECE Night at Dodger Stadium, with an announced attendance of 54,081.

It fell short of 2025’s most attended game, which was for Ice Cube bobblehead night at Dodger Stadium with an announced crowd of 54,154.

Success and star power help drive Dodgers attendance

The Dodgers’ success and commitment to winning have built significant goodwill with the fanbase, which has rewarded the team with record-breaking attendance numbers in back-to-back years.

“I think that it goes under the, ‘If you build it, they will come,’” Roberts said. “We’ve always drawn well, but ownership and the front office, you’re getting stars. Los Angeles loves stars, and they want to see superstars. And we have a lot of superstars, which draws people.

“I think our product is very consistent. It’s very relatable. And like I said, this is one of the better places in baseball to play a big league ballgame.”
