The penultimate game of the wraparound series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks was selected for an exclusive Roku stream as part of their “MLB Sunday Leadoff” programming.

Roku reached an exclusive multi-year contract agreement with MLB to stream games for free during an exclusive window on Sundays. “MLB Sunday Leadoff” streams began May 19 and have continued each Sunday on The Roku Channel and TheRokuChannel.com.

The Roku Channel is widely available to stream for free without a subscription or sign-up required. Fans can stream MLB games on Roku devices or TVs, TheRokuChannel.com, and through the Roku app on iOS and Android devices, Amazon Fire TVs, Samsung TVs, Google TVs and other Android TV devices.

Roku replaced Peacock as a streaming option for MLB games on Sunday.

“With free games available to anyone, MLB games on Roku will be widely accessible to fans,” MLB deputy commissioner of business and media Noah Garden said earlier this yeaer. “Since Roku serves as an entertainment gateway for millions, this partnership offers a valuable new promotional and distribution platform for MLB games and content.”

Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks Roku stream

The Dodgers are making their Roku debut on Sunday afternoon when they face the Diamondbacks in the third of a four-game series at Chase Field.

Diamondbacks play-by-play man Steve Berthiaume and reporter Jody Jackson are on the call, and so too is Dodgers broadcaster José Mota.

Mota joined the Dodgers broadcast team heading into the 2022 season after abruptly resigning with the Los Angeles Angels.

Sunday’s game will only be available via Roku stream, and not air on SportsNet LA.
