The Los Angeles Dodgers announced their Minor League coaching staffs for the 2026 season with Scott Hennessey (Oklahoma City), Eric Wedge (Tulsa), Jair Fernandez (Great Lakes), John Shoemaker (Ontario), Fumi Ishibashi (Arizona Complex League Dodgers), Leury Bonilla and Sergio Mendez (Dominican Summer League Dodgers) all leading their respective squads.
The Dodgers farm system returns six of their seven managers from last season, with Fumi Ishibashi taking over as the head man for the Arizona Complex League Dodgers. Ishibashi has been with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization since 2008, appearing in three games in his Minor League career and serving as a bullpen catcher for the Inland Empire 66ers.
He joined the coaching ranks full-time in 2011 with the AZL Dodgers and served as the Dodgers bullpen catcher from May 2012 through the 2013 season. He has coached various positions in the organization, and this will be his second stint as a Minor League manager as he served as the DSL 2 Manager in 2019, going 35-34 and finishing in third place in DSL.
Last season, the Dodger Minor League affiliates recorded a combined .505 winning percentage (363-356), posting their 10th straight winning season and 13th-best winning percentage in baseball. The Tulsa Drillers and Rancho Cucamonga led the affiliates with playoff berths in 2025, while the Oklahoma City Comets finished with 84+ wins for the third time in the last four seasons and recorded a Pacific Coast League-best 45-30 record away from Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Ryan Ward led the Comets with 36 home runs, 122 RBI, 73 extra-base hits and 315 total bases and earned the Pacific Coast League MVP. He was the 15th Dodger Minor Leaguer to win PCL MVP and joined former standout Michael Busch as the second MVP from the Oklahoma City affiliation.
He was not the only Dodger to win MVP honors in 2025 as outfielder Josue De Paula won the Futures Game MVP after clubbing a three-run homer to help the National League defeat the American League, 4-2 at Truist Park in Atlanta, GA.
The Dodgers Minor League affiliates contributed to the back-to-back World Championship squad as they produced eight of the 26-man final roster, including Clayton Kershaw, Jack Dreyer, Edgardo Henriquez, Emmet Sheehan, Justin Wrobleski, Will Smith, Andy Pages and Hyeseong Kim.
