Las Vegas Raiders superstar wide receiver Davante Adams has had no problem speaking on any issues he has had so far during his time with the franchise. While there have been frustrations, especially this year, there has also been a lot of individual success.

Last season saw Adams prove that he can dominate without Aaron Rodgers, and he found himself named a First Team All-Pro for the third consecutive year. This season has seen some ups and downs, but Adams still leads the Raiders in targets, catches and yards. And now he has surpassed the greatest receiver of all time on one franchise list.

With his 57 yards against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Adams has now reached 2,000 receiving yards with the Raiders, doing so in just 24 games. That makes Adams the second-fastest Raider to reach the mark, ahead of Jerry Rice and trailing just Art Powell, who did so in 21 games, via Raiders PR:

Simply put, gaining 2,000 yards in that short amount of time is nothing but impressive. Adams has made it extremely clear that he is amongst the elite at his position in the NFL today and one of the best the league has ever seen. Regardless of anything else, Adams continues to deliver any time he gets the chance, which undoubtedly has contributed to his frustrations this season.

At times, the Raiders have made sure to get Adams the ball every way they can, but in other games, the ball rarely seems to go his way. Some of this has to do with defenses keying in on him, but that has always been the case, and the best receivers are still able to make a huge impact despite that.

The Raiders offense has struggled this season, and Adams knows he has the ability to change that and get this team back on track with the talent they have, the Raiders should have one of the top offenses in the league.

Any time a player can say they passed Jerry Rice on a list, it means that he is doing something right. The Raiders have an all-time great in Davante Adams, and he is ready to put this team on his back and take them to where they want to be.
