Autographed Mookie Betts, Cody Bellinger & Clayton Kershaw Jerseys Among Products Listed In Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Auction To Support COVID-19 Relief Efforts

In addition to partnering with the Los Angeles Dodgers and iHeartMedia Los Angeles, the L.A. Dodgers Foundation (LADF) launched a special auction to further support local coronavirus (COVID-19) relief effort.

Bidding for each of the 21 items opened this week and the auction runs through 5 p.m. PT on Sunday, April 19.

Available products include autographed jerseys from players on the 2020 Dodgers roster, highlighted by Cody Bellinger, Mookie Betts, Clayton Kershaw and Justin Turner. Game-worn Kiké Hernandez and Max Muncy jerseys are also up for bidding.

Fans can additionally support relief efforts by by texting “Relief” to 41623 or visiting Dodgers.com/Relief to donate.

The Dodgers, LADF and iHeartMedia L.A. are focused on providing for those experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, difficulty with basic needs and provide support for healthcare workers.

Initial grants will be directed to the Los Angeles Food Bank, My Friend’s Place and the Mayor’s Fund of Los Angeles. Additional funds raised will be directed to similar organizations with substantial need.

Initial in-kind donations will include food, hygiene necessities, clothing and promotional items distributed to the Los Angeles Unified School District’s Grab & Go Food Centers, The Dream Center and homeless shelters in partnership with City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.

Through the Justin Turner Foundation, Justin and Kourtney Turner regularly partner with the L.A. Dream Center on various initiatives. That has continued during the coronavirus pandemic as the couple organized with local restaurants to supply The Dream Center with meals for their daily feeding program.

Clayton and Ellen Kershaw, Chris Taylor, Ross and Shelby Stripling, and Alex and Suzanna Wood are among those who have also contributed to the local nonprofit organization.

Additional donations from the Dodgers, LADF and iHeartMedia will be provided to healthcare workers at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, and affiliated UCLA Health medical facilities.

The campaign began with the Dodgers, LADF and California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) delivering 100 pizzas and various memorabilia products to staff at UCLA Medical Center Santa Monica on Tuesday.
