The Los Angeles Dodgers are just over one week away from reporting to Camelback Ranch for the start of Spring Training, and among the items awaiting them in the clubhouse will be a cap that is essentially the same from one year ago.

The New Era 59FIFTY Spring Training caps were officially unveiled and are available for purchase, and the Dodgers again are due to sport a blue lid with their “LA” logo embroidered on the front and the team’s signature script placed inside it.

The Dodgers’ cursive logo remains embroidered on the right side of the cap. New Era’s logo is emblazoned on the left, with the MLB batterman accompanied by a Cactus League and Arizona designation along with 2021.

The design on the back represents the only changes from when New Era first unveiled the two-logo look for Spring Training last year. Those caps — sans the Arizona patch — were also worn by players for batting practice throughout the regular season.

Each MLB 59FIFTY Spring Training cap is made of 100% polyester knit and six panels.

Key Dodgers Spring Training dates

Dodgers pitchers and catchers are due to report to Camelback Ranch by Feb. 17, with their first official workout of camp taking place Thursday. Position players must arrive within a few days after pitchers and catchers, and the first full-squad workout will then take place Tuesday, Feb. 23.

The Dodgers’ first Cactus League game is a road matchup against the Chicago Cubs on Saturday, Feb. 27. MLB reportedly is going to do away with split-squad games this spring as part of health and safety protocols.

As it currently stands, L.A. is scheduled to be in split-squad action against the San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres on March 9, Kansas City Royals and Cincinnati Reds on March 16, or the Milwaukee Brewers and Colorado Rockies on March 26.

Furthermore, the Dodgers’ Spring Training schedule has them facing a split-squad Texas Rangers team on Feb. 28, and the same scenario with the Cincinnati Reds on March 2, and Arizona Diamondbacks on March 18 and 25.
