Walker Buehler was back in his home state of Kentucky last week to host his fourth annual celebrity golf charity outing at the Keene Trace Golf Club in support of the wellness of local first responders.

Buehler did not participate in the event, but several of his former Vanderbilt teammates were present, as well as Los Angeles Dodgers teammate Bobby Miller and 2023 World Series MVP Corey Seager.

Red Moose and True Spec Golf partnered with the Walker Buehler Family Foundation to help put on this year’s outing.

Since its inception in 2019, the Walker Buehler Family Foundation’s annual golf events have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for different causes.

Last year’s event benefitted the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN), whose mission is to “take bold action to improve the lives of everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer by advancing scientific research, building community, sharing knowledge, and advocating for patients.”

A silent auction was also held that raised additional proceeds for the nonprofit organization. Among the items that were available to bid on were autographed Buehler cleats, two autographed 2020 World Series baseballs and two signed Dodgers jerseys.

Walker Buehler happy former Dodgers teammates finding success with Rangers

Seager teed off at Buehler’s charity golf outing just two weeks after helping the Texas Rangers win their first World Series title in franchise history.

Seager was one of five former Dodgers on the Rangers’ World Series roster, and Buehler said he is happy to see his friends finding success with their new team.
