The Los Angeles Dodgers postseason roster for their 2024 National League Championship Series matchup against the New York Mets features 13 pitchers and 13 position players, but with changes from the previous round in that Miguel Rojas and Alex Vesia are not included.
Both players ended the NL Division Series marred by injury. Kevin Kiermaier and Brent Honeywell have replaced Rojas and Vesia on the latest Dodgers playoff roster.
Meanwhile, Ben Casparius, who replaced an injured Michael Grove before Game 3 of the NLDS, is still on the playoff roster. Casparius did not appear in a game against the San Diego Padres.
Rojas aggravated a torn left adductor muscle he’s been playing through for multiple months, and missed the final two games of the NLDS. Rojas and the Dodgers have largely managed the issue but he’s expected to require offseason surgery to fully correct it.
The Dodgers hold a $5 million team option on Rojas’ contract for the 2025 season. It can be bought out for $1 million, which would make the veteran shortstop a free agent.
Vesia left Game 5 with what the Dodgers initially deemed a cramp in his side, but an MRI revealed to be an intercostal injury.
