The first half of the 2023 Los Angeles Dodgers promotions schedule includes dates for Drone Shows, Friday Night Fireworks and the ever-popular bobblehead giveaways, among other items.
With promotional dates on the Dodgers schedule up to the All-Star break, there are 15 stadium-wide giveaways along with a series of theme nights and special celebrations. Promotional items will be given out to the first 40,000 ticketed fans in attendance, while supplies last, at the guest’s point of entry, unless otherwise noted.
The Dodger Stadium Drone Show will be unveiled Friday, March 31, after the Dodgers host the Arizona Diamondbacks. Drone delays twice interrupted play last year, but the team now is embracing the technology.
Dodgers Drone Shows are not a replacement to Friday Night Fireworks, with those still taking place April 14, April 28, June 23 and July 4. The Independence Day fireworks are being held on a Tuesday. Additional Friday Night Fireworks dates at Dodger Stadium may be announced with the second half of the 2023 promotional schedule.
The first Dodgers bobblehead giveaway of 2023 is for Freddie Freeman on April 1. He’s followed on the calendar by Julio Urías, Dustin May, Mookie Betts, Will Smith, Clayton Kershaw, Gavin Lux and Tony Gonsolin.
Absent so far is a J.D. Martinez bobblehead, but one is available from FOCO to commemorate his signing with the Dodgers.
Additional Dodgers giveaways in 2023 include a retro hooded sweatshirt (April 4), Vin Scully jersey (April 18) and Urías City Connect jersey (May 30).
Mother’s Day will feature a custom Dodgers picture frame giveaway, and Father’s Day is being accompanied by a special bucket hat promotional item.
Special ticket pack nights include Hello Kitty Night (April 17), Star Wars Night (May 2), Mexican Heritage Night (May 16), Black Heritage Night (June 14), Pride Night (June 16) and Luau Night (July 5).
