Los Angeles Dodgers postseason tickets for the 2023 National League Division Series and potential NL Championship Series went on sale to the general public. Fans also can purchase parking in advance.
The Dodgers are playing October baseball for an 11th consecutive season. During that span they have won the NL West division in 10 years, with the only exception coming in 2021 when a then-franchise record 106 wins was edged by the San Francisco Giants.
Prior to their current stretch, the Dodgers had not reached the playoffs more than two years in a row. In 2016, they became the first team in MLB history to win the NL West four consecutive years since the Divisional Era began in 1969. That record ultimately was extended to eight in a row.
The Dodgers’ streak of eight trailed only the Atlanta Braves (14) and New York Yankees (nine) for most division titles in a row since 1969.
The 2023 MLB postseason begins Tuesday, October 3, with the Wild Card Series in both leagues. As it currently stands, the Dodgers are due to face the winner of the Wild Card round between the Nos. 3 and 6 seeds, which currently are the Milwaukee Brewers and Miami Marlins, respectively.
No matter how that unfolds, the 2023 Dodgers postseason schedule begins with Game 1 of the NLDS on Saturday, October 7. The Dodgers are guaranteed to host at least two NLDS games, and a third if the best-of-five goes the distance.
Should the Dodgers advance to the second round, dates of NLCS games at Dodger Stadium would be dependent on whether or not the Dodgers are the higher seed. They currently trail the Atlanta Braves, who are 3.5 games ahead for the best record in the NL.
All postseason games the Dodgers play in the NLDS and NLCS will be national broadcasts on TBS.
