SportsNet LA announced they will televise every Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training game this year, and 17 will be carried by AM 570 L.A. Sports Radio, and eight on KTNQ 1020 AM Spanish-language radio.
The Dodgers’ Cactus League slate begins Sunday with a road matchup against the Oakland Athletics at 12:05 p.m. PT. Spring Training telecasts will be handled by multiple SportsNet LA broadcast teams, led by Joe Davis and Orel Hershiser.
Tim Neverett will also call a select number of Spring Training games on SportsNet LA and AM 570, alongside Ned Colletti and Rick Monday. New SportsNet LA reporter and host Kirsten Watson will also be part of the broadcasts from Camelback Ranch.
Watson takes the role held by Alanna Rizzo for the past seven seasons, as she made a decision to step away in the best interest of her personal life.
SportsNet LA is already airing Spring Training studio programming with “Access SportsNet: Dodgers,” on nightly at 7:00 p.m. PT. John Hartung is again host of the network’s flagship program, and he’s joined by Hershiser, Nomar Garciaparra, Jerry Hairston Jr. and Colletti.
AM 570’s Spring Training programming includes “Dodger Talk,” hosted by David Vassegh each weeknight. Vassegh is onsite at Camelback Ranch to provide daily analysis, special reports and exclusive interviews throughout Spring Training.
Every Dodgers Spring Training and regular season game will be streamed in HD for free on the iHeartRadio app. Fans can find it by searching for “AM 570 LA Sports” in their designated app store.
Dodgers’ Spanish-language broadcasts on KTNQ 1020 AM shift to a three-person booth with Jaime Jarrín, Fernando Valenzuela and Pepe Yñiguez. The trio that previously called games together from 2003-13.
