2020 NFL Pro Bowl: Schedule, Start Time, TV Info & More

NFL Championship Sunday has concluded with the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers both punching their ticket to Super Bowl LIV at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla.

Before that matchup gets underway, the NFL will shift its attention to the annual Pro Bowl Game this Sunday. The AFC and NFC are set to battle it out for bragging rights, with dozens of the sport’s biggest names expected to play in the exhibition contest.

The now Las Vegas Raiders will be represented by a pair of offensive linemen in Trent Brown and Rodney Hudson, who were each named starters for the AFC.

The Pro Bowl nod marks the first in Brown’s career after a solid debut season with the Raiders. He started in 11 games before his season ended prematurely in December after being placed on injured reserve with a pectoral issue. He obviously won’t be playing in the game due to the injury but will likely still be in Orlando representing the Raiders.

Hudson was another key cog of the Raiders’ offensive line, starting in 15 games and has missed just four games since signing with the franchise in 2015. He helped stabilize a unit that allowed only 28 sacks all season — good for the fifth-fewest in all of football.

In addition to Brown and Hudson being voted in as starters, rookie running back Josh Jacobs, tight end Darren Waller, guard Richie Incognito and fullback Alec Ingold were named as alternates although barring any changes, none will be attending the game. Players could bow out leading up to the weekend though so that’s something to keep an eye on.

The AFC running backs that were selected ahead of Jacobs include Nick Chubb (starter), Derrick Henry and Mark Ingram. As for Waller, Travis Kelce (starter) and Mark Andrews were selected ahead of him.

With Kelce and the Chiefs advancing to the Super Bowl, Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle was named a replacement. One can assume Waller’s recent thumb surgery took him out of consideration for a potential spot on the AFC roster.
