Less than two weeks after helping the Los Angeles Dodgers win the World Series, Tommy Edman was in attendance for the Los Angeles Chargers’ 25-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night.
Edman, who grew up in San Diego cheering for the Chargers, wore a No. 17 Philip Rivers jersey and was on the field during pregame ceremonies.
Manager Dave Roberts and Jack Flaherty previously took in a Chargers game after the Dodgers won the 2024 World Series.
Edman showing up to SoFi Stadium to support the Chargers came after quarterback Justin Herbert attended Game 3 of the World Series at Dodger Stadium.

That wound up being one of the most memorable games in MLB history as the Dodgers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays in 18 innings behind Freddie Freeman’s walk-off home run.
The Chargers now have their sights on delivering another championship to L.A. At 7-3, they have the fourth-best record in the AFC and currently hold one of the Wild Card spots.
Chargers’ Tuli Tuipulotu does Freddie Freeman dance
Among the highlights for the Chargers in their win was outside linebacker Tuli Tuipulotu bringing down Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the third quarter of Sunday’s win for his team-high eighth sack of the 2025 season.

Tuipulotu celebrated by doing the dance made popular by Freeman over the last three seasons, in addition to the Dodgers’ hip-lock move. The Dodgers adopted that as a celebration in 2024 whenever a player collects an extra-base hit and continued with the trend this year.
