The Los Angeles Rams have unveiled two new alternate uniforms to their slate for the 2026 season. The two jerseys are named Classic Sol and Fearsome White, celebrating two historic eras of Rams lore.

The Classic Sol uniform honors the 75th anniversary of the Rams’ 1951 NFL championship, while the Fearsome White honors the Fearsome Foursome of Deacon Jones, Merlin Olsen, Lamar Lundy, and Rosey Grier that defined the franchise in the 1960s and 1970s.

The designs remain true to the current era of Rams football while honoring teams of the franchise’s past. And they get unveiled ahead of a massive season in which the Rams are slated to be among the favorites to win the Lombardi trophy after their offseason acquisition of Myles Garrett.

The Rams will wear the Classic Sol jerseys twice this season, with the debut coming in Week 2, a Monday Night Football bout with the New York Giants. They’ll appear again in a massive showdown against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football in Week 13.

The Fearsome White will make its lone appearance of the season in Week 12, when the Rams face the Green Bay Packers in the NFL’s first-ever Thanksgiving Eve game.

Rams explain tradition behind new jerseys

The Rams’ press release explained the decision to add these jerseys and what they are meant to honor.

“These uniforms are a celebration and reminder of the moments and people that built the Rams into what and who we are today,” said Kathryn Kai-Iing Frederick, Chief Marketing Officer, Los Angeles Rams. “Every detail was intentionally designed to honor the grit and greatness of our history while delivering a modern look for today’s players and fans. Classic Sol and Fearsome White represent two iconic eras of Rams football, and we’re proud to bring those stories to life in a way that connects generations of Rams fans.

“To see the Los Angeles Rams uniforms that we wore 60 years ago on the playing field now, reminds me of the importance of being a team player. We selflessly prioritized the team’s collective success over individual stats or personal glory,” said Grier. “As strong teammates, we supported each other through the inevitable ups and downs of the NFL season. Whether we had those uniforms on or off, we were accountable teammates, trusting each other to do our job flawlessly.”
