The Las Vegas Raiders will be a team of intrigue heading into the 2021 season as they have made several changes on both sides of the field.
Defensively, they will be headed up by new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley who has already begun to remake the unit in his image. The Raiders will be in the market for secondary help, but their pass rush should be better after agreeing to terms with Yannick Ngakoue.
Offensively, Las Vegas will again be led by Darren Waller and Josh Jacobs but will be flanked by newcomers like John Brown and Willie Snead. They should also see leaps from second-year receivers Henry Ruggs and Bryan Edwards, as well as the steady Hunter Renfrow.
While the offensive line received a major facelift, the Raiders reportedly decided to invest in the long-term future of the left tackle spot as Kolton Miller tweeted out he agreed to an extension with the Silver and Black.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN detailed Miller’s extension numbers:
The Las Vegas Raiders and OT Kolton Miller have agreed to a three-year extension worth more than $18 million per year, per source. Deal includes $42.6 million guaranteed at signing and goes through 2025 (including a fifth-year option) for ascending tackle.

This is quite the vote of confidence for Miller, who has started in all 46 games he has appeared. The tackle was the first pick in head coach Jon Gruden’s second go-around with the team and has steadily improved year to year.
The extension makes sense as Miller is only 25 years old and has shown he is comfortable in Gruden’s scheme. After trading away veterans Rodney Hudson, Gabe Jackson, and Trent Brown, Miller figures to be the anchor along the offensive line, and while that may seem like a lot for the young left tackle, he has the talent to live up to those lofty expectations.
