The Los Angeles Lakers unveiled a first look at their first Austin Reaves bobblehead fan giveaway on Sunday, Dec. 27 against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Fans in attendance at the Lakers’ contest will receive the giveaway item. Also, this season, the Lakers will give out a bobblehead of Luka Doncic commemorating his 2025-26 NBA Scoring Champion accolade.
The Lakers have beefed up their promotional schedule for the 2026-27 season, adding a number of bobblehead nights, including Phil Jackson, Norm Nixon, Kurt Rambis and Paul Westhead. The Lakers will also unveil a Phil Jackson statue outside of Crypto.com Arena on April 9 to celebrate the legendary coach.
On Dec. 27 though, it will be all about Reaves, who re-signed with the Lakers on a near-max contract this offseason. With LeBron James departing, Reaves is now the longest tenured player in purple and gold and will be tasked with more leadership responsibilities alongside Doncic.
The 28-year-old has improved in each of his five seasons with the Lakers though and was playing at an All-Star level last year before injuries derailed his campaign. He heads into 2026-27 as L.A.’s unquestioned second option and will be part of the long-term future as the organization looks to get back into championship contention.
