The Los Angeles Dodgers announced a new promotion for their Fourth of July game at Dodger Stadium to commemorate the United States of America’s 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Fans in attendance will receive a Dodgers commemorative coin featuring their back-to-back World Series champions logo on one side and the L.A. logo with an American flag backdrop on the other. In addition to the new giveaway, the day will include a postgame fireworks show at Dodger Stadium.

The United States Semiquincentennial will be celebrated across the country with events leading up to July 4. Official planning for the celebrations began in 2016 with the nonpartisan, congressional United States Semiquincentennial Commission, called America250.

Other planned festivities include commemorative coinage and stamps, UFC at the White House, a fair at the National Mall, OpSail 2026, a Times Square Ball drop, and a Grand Prix around the National Mall.

Part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held across the United States, with matches in Philadelphia and Houston on the date of the Semiquincentennial.

To coincide with the 250-year anniversary, MLB arranged for the 2026 All-Star Game to be hosted by the Philadelphia Phillies.
