“I really do believe, Julian, that we’re going to see a much more active summer in terms of trade activity and meaningful trade activity than, than you normally get in July and August. There’s just too many, too many unanswered questions out there.

You know, I even look at Morgan Rielly with the Leafs. You know, I still expect him likely to be moved. I know there’s still hope that it can happen.

Where are things at with Morgan Rielly and the Toronto Maple Leafs?

You know, the Sharks went off the board as a possibility on July 1st when they traded for Darnell Nurse, and you know, signed Jacob Truba. You know, they kind of filled up their spots with some big-money defensemen.

But you know, I look at Anaheim, you know, as of this moment, does not have, you know, enough NHL D to move forward. They lost all of (Radko) Gudas, (Jacob) Trouba, and (John) Carlson from their blue line, the team that played in the second round last year. Maybe there’s a fit there for the Leafs.

And even if not that, I think that they’ll explore other possibilities.”
