The Los Angeles Dodgers punched their ticket to the World Series with a 10-5 win over the New York Mets in Game 6 of the National League Championship Series.

All six games had decisive outcomes as the Dodgers’ 9-0 win in Game 1 represented the largest margin of victory. The smallest margin of victory was the Mets’ 7-3 win in Game 2.

The average margin of victory in the NLCS was 6.7 runs, which set a new MLB postseason record:

Dodgers win 22nd National League pennant in franchise history

The Dodgers won their 22nd NL pennant in franchise history and first since 2020. It’s the 13th NL championship in Los Angeles franchise history and first time doing so at Dodger Stadium since 1988 against the Mets.
