MLB announced the 2023 Spring Training schedule, which has the Los Angeles Dodgers set to begin Cactus League play on Saturday, Feb. 25, against the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Fields of Phoenix.
This is the second consecutive year the Dodgers open Cactus League play against the Brewers. Their first home Spring Training game takes place the following day against the Chicago Cubs at Camelback Ranch.
Overall, the Dodgers have 32 Cactus League games on their 2023 Schedule, split evenly with 16 home games and 16 on the road. They additionally have two off days, the first on Tuesday, March 7, and the next one a week later on March 14.
The Dodgers also have two days of split-squad matchups, with the first coming on March 11 when they host the Cubs and travel to face the San Francisco Giants. The second comes on March 21 when they host the Giants and face the Cleveland Guardians on the road.
The Dodgers’ final game at Camelback Ranch is March 25 when they host the Kansas City Royals.
Beginning March 26, the Dodgers once again play the Los Angeles Angels in their annual exhibition Freeway Series at Dodger Stadium. The following two days the series continues at Angel Stadium with their final exhibition game of Spring Training taking place on Tuesday, March 28.
With the World Baseball Classic taking place next year, MLB announced select games featuring those teams will be played at various Spring Training facilities on March 8-9, however, Camelback Ranch is not among the fields being used.

2023 Dodgers regular season
Following Spring Training, the Dodgers’ season begins with an Opening Day matchup at Dodger Stadium against the Arizona Diamondbacks on March 30. It’s the first time they will play a season opener at home since 2020.
Every team will now play 46 Interleague games, which is an increase from 20, as every team will face each other at least once during the season. As a result, clubs will only play 52 divisional games, down from the usual 76.
The schedule finishes with a seven-game road trip against the Rockies and Giants, which begins with a split doubleheader at Coors Field on Sept. 26, 2023.
The final day of the 2023 MLB regular season is Sunday, Oct. 1.
