The Winnipeg Jets have had a busy offseason with their own free agents. They have five players file for salary arbitration, including likes of Bryan Little, Blake Wheeler and Zach Bogosian.

Management knew it wouldn’t be a cheap summer for them. In the past week they locked up Little to a five-year deal worth $23.5 million and Blake Wheeler to a six-year deal worth $33.6 million.

Yesterday, they signed 2008 third overall pick, Zach Bogosian, to a seven-year deal worth $36 million. The deal will carry a $5,142,857 salary cap hit.

The Jets now have 23 players under contract with a cap hit of $63.2 million, which is the tenth highest in the NHL so far.
