#1 Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions
The Lions might not be the team that broke out of a decade-long slump last season to finally clinch a playoff spot in the NFC, but this team is still extremely talented on the offensive side of the football with two stars that will endure for years to come.
Although quarterback Matthew Stafford has had his ups and downs this season, he’s still managed to connect with Pro Bowl wideout Calvin Johnson more often than not. Against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 13, expect more of the same in Detroit with Johnson likely to the best fantasy wide receiver option of the week.
#2 Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons will be defending their home field in Week 13 with the division rival New Orleans Saints coming to town. Even though the Saints handed the Falcons their only loss of the season back in Week 10, Atlanta will likely avenge that loss with a vengeance on Thursday by humiliating one of the worst defenses in the NFL.
The main goal for the Falcons coming into this matchup will be containing Drew Brees, but Atlanta’s offense will have to have a big day as well to keep up with Brees and company.
Atlanta will likely be bringing heat through the air and on the ground on Thursday with veteran wideout Roddy White on the receiving end of a couple of touchdowns.
#3 A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals have failed to live up to expectations after clinching a playoff berth last season with rookies Andy Dalton and A.J. Green leading the way. Even though Cincinnati will likely not be playoff bound this time around, the Bengals still possess one of the best quarterback-receiver combinations in the game.
Green has proven his rookie season was no fluke with huge numbers this year. Green has already surpassed last season’s touchdown total with by three with 10 on the year thus far and will probably pass last year’s receiving yards mark of 1,057 with a solid performance in Week 13 coming in with 1,022 against the San Diego Chargers.
Other Notable WRs for Week 13: Julio Jones (Atlanta Falcons) vs. New Orleans Saints, Demaryius Thomas (Denver Broncos) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Andre Johnson (Houston Texans) vs. Tennessee Titans, Wes Welker (New England Patriots) vs. Miami Dolphins, Victor Cruz (New York Giants) vs. Seattle Seahawks, Dez Bryant (Dallas Cowboys) vs. Philadelphia Eagles
